Good Morning! Today is the Blue Back To School kit. It has a few more colors in the papers than the Black and White kit, and not all of the elements are shown.

As always, this is for Personal Use Only, and is full sized. Items will have to be re sized to your personal preferences in your creations.

Back to School Madness

I promised you some Back To School kits....and the download link for one alpha. The alpha is a freebie!! Having the font on your computer is way easier, and you can use it whenever you wish, in whatever color you need. Also, simpler to give the download link to a font than get into legal trouble!

The first Back To School kit up for you to use is the Black and White kit. If you download all of the kits over the next few days and stick them into one ginormous single folder like I sometimes do with collab kits, you won't have to rename any of the files, i.e. xyz_1a, xyz_1b, etc. All pieces have the colors, so all of the backpacks have their color name after them, and so on.

WARNING: The items in the kits are all the size that the script ran them in, so you will more than likely have to do some resizing when you use them in your scrap book creations. The papers are 3600x3600 at 300dpi. See the previews below to get an idea of the sizes. And in this kit, not all items are shown in the preview that are included in the kit! I've got to have some surprises for you! :)

I want to personally thank all of the creators of the scripts that I used in any of my creations....not just the back to school kits, but about 85% of the other stuff I've shared recently. Please read the Designer Credits in the Credits and TOU folder that will be in each kit. :) One time reading is all that is necessary. :) There are a LOT of awesomely talented script creators out there, and I invite you to visit their blogs/stores to see what all they have. I did make note of one designer that no longer has a blog. The font I'm sharing is CollegiateFLF and was created by Casady & Green, who are no longer in business. Check out these sites to download it if you would like to have it on your computer. There are 5 or 6 different versions of it that they created.

Upcoming Back to School Kits

Since this is the time of the year when the kids go back to school, I've been working on some back to school goodies for you to work with. There are a LOT of different school colors and color combinations. So, in order to get the "basic" school color combinations into kits, and not make one file so huge, I split them up into at least 13 or 14 mini kits and at least one bonus kit at the end with goodies that would have been a bit of overkill to put into every kit. PLUS, I'm also including a collegiate/block style alphabet into each kit with that kit's colors.

I will start sharing these with you starting Monday and will post them everyday until they are all posted! There will be LOTS of goodies for you to create with!

Template 15

I've been trying to get used to my new glasses, which came in Wednesday. I now have tri-focal glasses, and they are driving me nuts with the difference in vision between the sections. They are an improvement over my last pair, which were single vision, but they are going to take me a while to get used to. It's like walking in my own version of the Twilight Zone! Walking down the stairs is a HUGE challenge because it's like walking down the stairs without my glasses, but then I've got the section that's supposed to help me see the computer better which is just a little stronger but it doesn't help me see distances. It took me 2 months to figure out the no line bi-focal glasses 4 years ago, and I figure it will take me just as long to get used to these! Migraine headaches really suck!

I created a little "stormy" template for you to use in your creations. They are in .psp and .psd format for you to use. Here's what I did with it. I know you can create something cool with it, too! The top picture is a picture that I took of some of my parent's flowers that I planted for them in May while my dad was in the hospital.

I've also been working on a back to school/college kit that I can hopefully get done soon. I know that some kids have already started back to school. The grand kids start the 20th of this month. Where has the summer gone???

Masks 46-50

I had my eyes examined this morning a little after 9, and my eyes are still a bit dilated 4 hours later, which is making it interesting to post. I thought I had problems seeing my computer before...oh, it's worse now with my eyes dilated! My eye doctor recommended that I get tri focals since the bi focals didn't work well for me about four years ago. Not sure that tri focals are going to work either, but, hey, I've got to see and if they don't work for me, then 2 years from now, I go back to single lenses. But it will be about a week to 10 days before I get them as Lens Crafters doesn't do 1 hour tri focals. I also had the pictures taken of the inside of my eyeballs this morning so they could see how that area was doing. The doctor seemed to think that the back of my eyes looked pretty good for being 56 years old. But my eyes right now feel like someone is trying to inflate them and then trying to pull them out of their sockets. So I think I'm going to get this posted and get off my computer before I end up with a migraine headache.

Today I have more masks to you to create with. This is what I did with Mask 50. I used it twice. I turned the first layer 90 degrees then used it a second time with a different color.

Have a GREAT weekend!

Didn't get anything created for you yesterday. Yesterday was my oldest grand daughter's 16th birthday, and I was also getting ready for my weekend trip to visit my youngest sister who lives in Madison, WI. I'm here in Madison to be the designated driver after the Milwaukee Brewers/Washington National's game tonight in Milwaukee. WOW! I'm going to a ball game that is NOT in St. Louis! I'm a freakin' Chicago Cubs fan for pity sake and I have never been to a game at Wrigley Field!! I've never been to a game where the Cubs were playing either. The 3 times I've been to St. Louis' Busch Stadium it's been free tickets from the company our dad was working for to watch the Cardinals play some other National League team!! I'll get to Wrigley Field at some point in my life to actually WATCH the Cubs play! It's on my Bucket List!!

It's a total bummer that I didn't get to post anything before I left for my sister's in Madison. And it's even more of a bummer that I forgot my flash drive so I could post something for you today. :( I'll post it for you on Monday. :)
